NICHD Fetal Growth Study - Singleton and Twins

The purpose of this study is to better understand how babies grow and develop inside the womb during pregnancy.

This study is sponsored by the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD). Enrollment in this study has ended.

For Participants
Enrollment in the NICHD Fetal Growth Study Singleton and Twin Gestations has ended.
For Researchers
This study of 3,350 pregnant women has been designed using a stratified overlapping cohort design to insure adequate numbers of pregnant mothers in multiple race and ethnic groups.
